Municipal Technical Advisory Group
(MTAG)
Municipal representatives offer valuable
input regarding local conditions and issues. Municipal
representatives can also assist in the identification
of local interest groups that should be consulted.
Consultation with municipal staff
and councils will be sought throughout the EA, to obtain
information on study area features, and obtain input
on project issues.
The following municipalities will

Community Advisory Group
The purpose
of the Community Advisory Group (CAG) is to provide
input and advice to the Project Team on the design,
conduct and findings of the Environmental Assessment
Study.
The Project Team will attempt to incorporate the CAG's
advice wherever possible.
The CAG is
expected to operate through to the completion of the
Individual EA for Route Location/Concept Design.
The CAG members
were either appointed by local municipal councils or
were invited to participate in the Group by the Project
Team. Representatives that have been confirmed are listed
below. The first CAG meeting will be held on June 28,
2005. Additional members may be solicited by the project
team.
